I don't know why I continue to come here except that my husband likes to. I have not had a good meal yet. I ordered sweet iced tea. It was not sweet. I had to ask 3 times to get more ice. I ordered a pecan waffle, I got a plain waffle, the rest of my breakfast was watery grits, eggs scrambled with cheese that the cheese was still in a big chunk, toast that was more like dried bread than toast, received hash browns that I did not order or want, and bacon, that I usually love, that was absolutely nasty and had no flavor. If I can help it, I won't be back.
Nasty! Staff doesn't take care of the establishment. They are rude and do not care about the customer.
idk why everyone disses on them but i had no problem at all with them there food was beyond good
Food was good but order was WRONG and took twice as long as lady promised (which she also was apologizing was going to be to long already ). When I drove by to see if they could be that busy at 2 am I seen all the staff in the parking lot with other people hanging out and no customers were there at all. ..before they could hand us our food they were already racing back outside and the cook left before the food was even finished. ..completely left! No wonder when I tried to CALL to place to go order, first 5 times, no one could answer the phone. Needless to say I didn't waste my time trying to get the correct order (even though they verified the order several times).
I visit the Dunlap Huddle House often and the waitresses and Monica (the manager) are always kind and attentive. I typically order the MVP and my favorite part about it is the HH waffle by far. Sometimes the hash browns are a little undercooked, but I just make sure to let my server know to make them extra crispy. Other than that, I think the store has a really cute and cozy atmosphere.
