They got some of the order right is the only reason I gave them 3 *. I told them no mayo and no tomato, well guess what was on my SS cheeseburger? You got it - mayo and tomato.
The best part about living in a small town is you know everyone. Karin always takes care of her customers. Very short wait even when we order our favorite mozzarella cheese sticks...we love Sonic
Not the healthiest by far, but I can't resist the raspberry sweet tea. We have never had a problem with our order. Need more gluten free items.
I always get a route 44 diet Dr Pepper add cherry and vanilla, and this is the only place in town to get one...and I love their burgers!
I do like Sonic ... drinks. That is why this is a 3-star vs. 2-star. I tried Sonic's food for the first time here. I ordered 2 grilled cheese, small onion rings, and mini tator tots which came to about $7. Not really impressed with how much their food costs. The grilled cheese came on the same type of bread as their "Texas toast" or crispier sandwiches (it seems?), however they were not grilled or crisp, just soggy. The small onion rings were literally 4 thin rings and a bit dark for what I like. However the tots were awesome, I'd get them again. A bit after I ate my boyfriend wanted to try a new custard ice cream they had. The screen opposite of the ordering screen said to check the menu for prices, this new product was not on the menu. I asked for the sizes and price for this product; they didn't know what I meant. I repeated the size and correlating price for the custard ice cream. They were still confused, told me it was on the menu. We checked and they definitely were not. Finally got through to them what we were asking and they entered an order for each size of the product so we could see it on the screen. This was helpful. He got the second largest size of the banana custard with Reese's. That came to about $7. In the picture it seemed like the whole custard had bits of Reese's mixed throughout it, as well as actual pieces of banana. His actually only had Reese's on top and no banana at all. He liked it, I tried it and it was super sweet but definitely a true banana flavor. When it started to melt, it took on a weird syrupy and sticky texture becoming non-edible to either of our liking. Our service was pretty quick compared to other reviews I've seen. We would maybe try another Sonic for food/ice cream just as a comparison to this ones' food quality and portion.
